Can't add additionnal SR after initial setup using Xencenter-NG #93
Comments
Thats not a bug. GFS2 is not supported by XCP-ng, because its code in XenServer is not open source. |
Why did you close the bug? This answer doesn't answer the actual question and I had figured the sources part/feature missing for GFS2 . The actual issue is the fact that you can't create a storage Repo as mentionned in the bug title. The exact message was provided as detailed information. edit: this is local storage on a local SAS RAID HBA not shared network storage... |
hmm... I thought you referred to GFS2 ... ok, I missunderstood you :-| |
ok, close again as you created a better second issue with more context |
get and error about the GFS2 driver not found and license problem when trying to add second storage repository
Add New SR -> Hardware HBA- > next -> issue #1 only have "Full provisioning" available with msg saying "Your pool license does notallow Thin Provisioning (GFS2)." -> select disk that was found click next -> The SR could not be connected because the driver gfs2 was not recognized.
The end : can't add the repo just stuck there
