  1. Ensure Flatpak support is installed:
  • On Debian/Ubuntu GNOME: sudo apt install flatpak gnome-software-plugin-flatpak
  • On Debian/Ubuntu KDE Plasma: sudo apt install flatpak plasma-discover-backend-flatpak
  1. Restart session/computer in case you didn't have Flatpak already installed
  2. Download the Fiji.flatpak file from here, open it in GNOME Software or KDE Discover and install it.

Alternatively, you can also install the file via the command-line and without a GUI: flatpak install ./Fiji.flatpak
