On the main project page, it says that you can disable tray notifications, but I don't see a way to do that?

Running Windows 10.

Thanks!

This is implemented in latest code available, but it is not in any of the releases (up to v.1.3.3)

If you want to build latest code you will also require to merge #403

Otherwise it will be available in next official release :)

Oh ok, is the release coming out soon? I can probably wait. :)

if you don't mind testing a new feature I've been working on I can build you a Windows version ;)

the feature is image previewing when pasting, dragging or adding images :) #398

Available here: https://github.com/averissimo/yakyak/releases/tag/v1.3.4-alpha

I'm guessing you are using a 64-bit system

Image previews work great, is there anything in particular you'd like me to
test with them?

yay!! good to know ;)

can you test it with a larger image 5MB+ (I sometimes notice that it freezes the UI a bit)

two extra things if you have the time:

test close to tray by

1. closing and reopenning

  1. selecting view -> show tray icon
  2. right clicking tray and selecting close to tray
  3. close window and see if you can reopen with tray

2. closing with close to tray not active

  1. selecting view -> show tray icon
  2. right clicking tray and make sure close to tray is not active
  3. close window and see that both window and tray have disappeared
  4. open YakYak again and there is no problem

Notifications without message and/or username

play with combinations of these options to see if they all work fine

nevermind about:

.2. closing with close to tray not active

.1. selecting view -> show tray icon
.2. right clicking tray and make sure close to tray is not active
.3. close window and see that both window and tray have disappeared
.4. open YakYak again and there is no problem

It was corrected in the meanwhile (not in the pre-release though :) )
