Hey @yellows8 , did you maked some progress here? if not, i would to use the hax on n3dsxl 11.5 and did some trys to build my own power save sav, but the output files dosnt work to write back. Anywas thanks for your hard work and sorry for my bad english 😜😂 |

I'm on stock 11.5.0-38U and the hack will launch homebrew, but homebrew will crash mid-way and error out. Would there be a way to build the powersave ourselves? |

I followed the guides on 3dsguide, i have godmode9, boot9strap and lumia.
Am I close to the requirements to dump a powersave for the hack?
I saw the TUTs on doing the hack if I had cfw, do I just do it then dump
the powersave?

TBH, if you already have "CFW", there's zero reason to use saveimages. |

If the process is doable I wanted to so that I could help everyone else
who's been waiting on them. The only reason why I ended up putting custom
firmware on was because I couldn't get this to work. I ended up spending a
lot of money and a lot of time getting ahold of cubic Ninja and two other
3DS just so that I could figure out how to install custom firmware. I
figure it this point I've got almost every 3DS necessary to put out the
powersaves myself. I just don't know where to begin. If it's difficult then
maybe I'll just leave it to the professionals, but if it's a simple task
once you have custom firmware I've got no problem taking the time out.

Is nobody able to just make a save that includes the 11.5.0 payload? I have the hacked save and I have the payload, just don't have any idea how to put them together... |

@Mclaneinc Download the Homebrew Starter kit and the 11.5 New3DS ropbin from http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ and put them on your SD Card, then insert the save in the Powersaves3DS folder (PC User->Powersaves3DS) and restore it using the Powersaves PC Applications (you might want to backup your saves first because you'll lose them in the process). After that, just load up Ocarina and open the HAX Savefile. Just Press A as soon as the game loads and you'll be into the Homebrew Launcher |

Hi there , I was just about to write back and say I've done it, I needed the correct filename for the sav to be recognised in Powersaves and yup, got the odd save file, hit a and up came the homebrew after some code.. But thank you for doing that so quick, I'll save it incase I need to do it again, daughter now very happy.. |

So, question. I have a US N3DSXL updated to 11.5.0-38U and I tried using the Powersaves file for my OOT that ThePandaGod put up, and when I boot it up, everything seems to work fine, but then when it gets to "The homemenu ropbin is ready" it takes me straight back to my 3DS home menu. There is no error message or anything. I also did put the ropbin on the root of my 3DS and I have the Homebrew Starter Kit as well. Anyone know what I could be doing wrong or how I could fix it? Thanks!! |

Oh my gosh, nevermind, I changed the name of the file when I tried to put it into my Powersaves. I deleted the save and put it back in without changing the name and it worked! For those of you who have minor idiot moments like me, do NOT change the name :) |

the OOT ThePandaGod put up doesn't work with my cartiadge since it's id is AQEE601dc98a. Does anybody know a fix? |

@ThePandaGod it works like a magic for me, mine is N3DSXL US. I simply restored the savefile you provided to the cartage by Powersave and then the homebrew system is alive! Thank you very much! |

Just out of curiosity, does this work for other save dongles, too, like the NDS Adaptor Plus, or is it strictly for PowerSaves? Either way, thank you for your work! |

@Juanito9001 Not through the homebrew launcher you would need a arm 11 and arm9 exploit unless you are capable of making an exploit yourself you will need to rely on NTRboot hacks or DSIware transfer hacks (see 3ds.guide) |
