Installation

• First - clone repo (Run in your terminal - you need git installed) and change dir to your project

git clone https://github.com/yoshkin/laravel-ecommerce.git yourproject.dev
cd yourproject.dev

• Second - install packages, create .env, generate KEY and update packages (Run in your "yourproject.dev" folder)

php -r "file_exists('.env') || copy('.env.example', '.env');"
composer install
php artisan key:generate
composer update

• Setup (change it) your ENV sql connection (.env)

DB_CONNECTION=mysql
DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=homestead
DB_USERNAME=homestead
DB_PASSWORD=secret

• Migrate sql queries + DB demo seeds for Settings Model (Run in your "yourproject.dev" folder)

php artisan migrate
php artisan db:seed --class="Backpack\Settings\database\seeds\SettingsTableSeeder"

• Maybe you need to change folders permissions (Run in your "yourproject.dev" folder)

sudo chgrp -R www-data storage bootstrap/cache
sudo chmod -R ug+rwx storage bootstrap/cache

• Activate Laravel Framework plugin in PHPStorm

Settings -> Laravel -> Enable for this project
