About The Project

This library was built to simplify and automate truss design for the most common truss configurations. It generates node and member geometry for a number of truss styles given very simple inputs. It also provides simple methods to generate and populate a force matrix for structural analysis via the Direct Stiffness Method. The generated geometry is transformed into a StructPy truss analysis object in order to perform the analysis.
