Prerequisites

APIs

This application uses the Cloudinary API to upload patient and staff images. Prior to launching, please ensure you have a CLOUDINARY_URL environment variable.

Add the following line, with your own url, to your bash profile.

export CLOUDINARY_URL=cloudinary://{stuffandthings}:{morestuffandthings}@{cloudinary}

To initialise the database with demo data:

rails db:create && rails db:migrate && rails db:seed

Heroku Deployment

If you have the environment variable above, you can simply run this command to get your Heroku environment to have the variable, too:

heroku config:set CLOUDINARY_URL=$CLOUDINARY_URL

Testing

Only primary models (not lookup data models) have tests.

To run all tests:

bundle exec rspec
