Adds two new test cases: - `ReaderPluginManagerCompatibilityTest` - `WriterPluginManagerCompatibilityTest` each of which compose the `CommonPluginManagerTrait` to allow testing v2 + v3 compatibility. Also updates the two plugin manager implementations to throw the original v2 exception types when under v2.
