If you want lots of folks to use your lib, then the GPL lic. is not really the way to go.

Since the code is a translation of the libzmq code, the libzmq LGPLv3 license has to apply.

Currently pom.xml in the repo says the license is GPL v3, not LGPL v3.

LGPL allows for licensing the modified version of the code under GPL (see paragraph 2b).

@miniway it would be best if you used LGPLv3, that will avoid arguments over whether or not non-GPL applications can use this project.
