Similar to #157, it would be great to be able to override the braille representation. The proposed ARIA attribute https://w3c.github.io/aria/#aria-braillelabel seems like a natural fit.

Thinking about this some more, this seems the wrong place. I would like to be able to get enriched output with both speech and braille but that's unrelated to ARIA properties. From our conversation, I think I should create such "merged" outputs myself for the time being. So I think this can be closed (and maybe a "dual output" feature request be filed in the future).
