I can narrow to most other things by using the keyboard, cycling through to check my unread messages, a shortcut to narrow to @-mentions would be great.

"m" for mentions seems reasonable.

As "M" is being used for muting a topic, it can be confusing. I think a better option is to use "ctrl/cmd + m".
