Hello @zulip/server-emoji members, this issue was labeled with the "area: emoji" label, so you may want to check it out! |
Hello @sayamsamal, you claimed this issue to work on it, but this issue and any referenced pull requests haven't been updated for 10 days. Are you still working on this issue? If so, please update this issue by leaving a comment on this issue to let me know that you're still working on it. Otherwise, I'll automatically remove you from this issue in 4 days. If you've decided to work on something else, simply comment Thank you for your valuable contributions to Zulip! |
I plan on working on this issue as part of GSOC '22. |
@sayamsamal If you aren't actively working on it (I think you've got a few higher-priority issues on your plate?), you can go ahead an unassign yourself. We don't expect folks to work precisely on the issues they put in their GSoC proposal, and it's best to leave issues open unless you're actively working on them, in case someone else would like to pick it up. You can always help by reviewing another contributor's work as well. Thanks! |
@alya thank you for the guidance and clarification, I'll unassign myself from the issue for others to take up. |

For anyone picking up this issue, I'd like to leave some notes.
