Thanks, we usually prefer patches / issue at code.google.com/p/zxing but this was easy to port over and commit.

So even though you have an official git clone, you can't merge pullrequests directly from it?

From the mirror back to SVN? Probably, though I don't know how to do it. It's just easier to try to manage patches, issues, source in one place than two.

Keeping everything is a good thing but there may be a way: http://viget.com/extend/effectively-using-git-with-subversion

If I understand this correctly after merging a pull request into this clone, you should run git-svn rebase and then git-svn dcommit

I'd rather just deal with SVN, and i can make patches from pull requests here pretty easily. I have had huge problems with git + SVN when trying to go two ways.
