Post Processing in Supersampling 2021

The new SSAA uses a separate camera to render the image at a higher resolution. The main camera on which the component is added is now only used to display the supersampled image.

This means that all the post processing now must be added to the render camera of the SSAA. To do so, just select the child ‘name’_SSAA camera of your camera and add your favorite post processing components to it as shown in the picture below.

Notes

**IMPORTANT NOTE 1 - ** To avoid performance issues when running with SSAA, disable the post processing on the original camera.

**IMPORTANT NOTE 2 - ** When disabling the SSAA component completely, the post processing will be handled on the original camera, meaning that if you removed the post processing scripts from your original camera, you will lose all post processing. It is advised to set ssaa mode to off (or x1 multiplier depending on used ssaa method) instead of disabling the component completely.
