In an ongoing project we are interested in using a modern version of yaml-cpp in an ESProducer.
Is there any reason why we are sticking to this 0.6.x one for the time being? It seems that we are observing a mismatch between the header and libraries version...

@forthommel , last try to update it (#7780 (comment)) caused failures on centos stream 8. We can try to tests again 0.7.0

Nevermind, I realised the handling of this package was probably in a relatively "undefined" state :) Just opened #8410!
