"Eagle" marks the integration of a compiled encryption library. Much of Eagle's functionality will be built into the extensions, but not immediately exposed to end users. Developers and testers will be able to access the functionality while extensions await for review by experts from outside the development effort. We also cannot release functionality reliant on other users having capabilities until there is sufficient platform coverage in this version.
While we integrate the encryption library, we will work with existing web applications like blogs and social networks to use Privly as a cross posting mechanism.
Developers and testers will be able to activate the functionality by changing the settings on the extension.
