This is a preliminary patch response to issue #983 and should resolve the problem. It contains references to a new rapidwright-lib build as well as a new set of device files that correspond to a widened storage field for the wire index. It has passed internal regressions and also the test suggested in #983.
These changes will be merged into the next release.
