I personally don't know what would fit into it as the website already sums up the functionality and the technical background of patching FEZ is already handled by the MonoMod readme.

I'm not sure if the project's still active, but now that the site's down, having a README would really be helpful, even if short.

At this point, it'd be better to just rewrite FEZMod from scratch. The installer won't work anymore - it depends on the version list and .zips from the website. The installer also won't work on macOS using mono anymore: WinForms is completely broken on that platform.

I want to restart work on FEZMod ASAP, but I want to finish a few other projects first. Some of them will benefit FEZMod's future.

For example, I'm working on XnaToFna right now. MonoMod is used in XnaToFna and by extension benefits from the XnaToFna test data. The FEZMod installer / FEZMod itself builds upon MonoMod.
Furthermore, I'm planning to work on a cross-game "MonoMod.Installer" GUI. Maintaining one general purpose MonoMod GUI is way easier than maintaining a dozen variations of the "FEZMod.Installer" codebase, f.e. ETGMod.Installer.

This plan isn't set in stone, anything can change at any time. The worst I can do right now is give an ETA that I won't meet. I'm sorry for not having communicated this anywhere else, though.

If I were to give an ETA right now, I'd say December 2017 / January 2018, but don't count on it.

In the meantime, I'll rename this repository to FEZMod-Legacy.
