Federama v0.2
Federama v0.2 begins to setting the foundations for future ActivityPub implementation. There is still a lot of work to be done, but some important basics are now in available, including:
- RSS and Atom feeds
- Nodeinfo
- WebFinger
- Users can messages to other users on the same instance
- Users have profile pages
- Users have public and private keys
In the absence of any formal ActivityPub test suites, I'll improvise to see how well Federama interacts with other ActivityPub software projects like Mastodon and Pleroma. The goal is to have it working with them by the end of 2019.
Federama v0.1
Version 0.1 of Federama offers a bare-bones CMS. There is a lot of work to be done in the future, but at this point Federama offers:
- Registrations can be open or closed.
- Front page will show posts.
- Users can login
- Users can create posts.
That's about it. While the goal of Federama is to use ActivityPub to connect to the Fediverse, it's not there yet.
