What DTB is used ? The core of 4.19 out of date and no longer used.

when I use Armbian_5.73_Aml-s905_Debian_stretch_default_4.20.2_20190130.img.xz
the kernel is ok,but hdmi no audio output,so I use 4.19.

now I pull your latest code and make zImage. I wish the hdmi works ok.
I down load a armbian img file that hdmi ok
I use mount the img,and use dtb and kernel config file form it

I think the kernel panic is belong to the kernel.
I replace the kernel which makes panic with the one the hdmi is ok,and the kernel is ok,and the DTB is still the old one.so I think DTB is ok,The reson is the kernel.

the panic is happend when the desktop is running,when I was not install the desktop,everything is ok

HDIM audio is still not work in 4.20.

I think the problum is the DTB.
the kernel is ok,no panic about v4l2.

I repeat the question. What DTB do you use in the 4.20 kernel (with which sound does not work) ? I don't need information about the 4.19 kernel and its panic.

Then take the DTB file from VIM1, just process it DTC and compare them. There will be a section about the sound, where you need to fix a few lines.

ok,I just burn Armbian_5.67_Aml-s9xxx_Debian_stretch_default_4.19.7_20181228.img,and I use the right dtb,and there is no kernel panic about v4l2,and hdmi audio and BT works fine.

These days ,I just use meson-gxl-s905d-p231.dtb and kernel 4.20 on my board,and The HDMI and video is ok,so I think my board is base on p231 board,The only trouble is bluetooh,It is not wok ,can you just add bluetooth(bcm43438-bt) support for phicomm-n1 base on meson-gxl-s905d-p231.dtb?

Since __sanitizer_cov_trace_const_cmp4 is marked as notrace, the
function called from __sanitizer_cov_trace_const_cmp4 shouldn't be
traceable either.  ftrace_graph_caller() gets called every time func
write_comp_data() gets called if it isn't marked 'notrace'.  This is the

Rework so that write_comp_data() that are called from
__sanitizer_cov_trace_*_cmp*() are marked as 'notrace'.

Commit 903e8ff ("kernel/kcov.c: mark funcs in __sanitizer_cov_trace_pc() as notrace")
missed to mark write_comp_data() as 'notrace'. When that patch was
created gcc-7 was used. In lib/Kconfig.debug
config KCOV_ENABLE_COMPARISONS
	depends on $(cc-option,-fsanitize-coverage=trace-cmp)

That code path isn't hit with gcc-7. However, it were that with gcc-8.

KMSAN reported batadv_interface_tx() was possibly using a
garbage value [1]

batadv_get_vid() does have a pskb_may_pull() call
but batadv_interface_tx() does not actually make sure

These is a NULL pointer dereference issue reported in bugzilla:

Hi,
in the setup there is a SATA SSD connected to a SATA-to-USB bridge.

The disc is "Samsung SSD 850 PRO 256G" which supports TRIM.
There are four partitions:
 sda1: FAT  /boot
 sda2: F2FS /
 sda3: F2FS /home
 sda4: F2FS

The bridge is ASMT1153e which uses the "uas" driver.
There is no TRIM pass-through, so, when mounting it reports:
 mounting with "discard" option, but the device does not support discard

The USB host is USB3.0 and UASP capable. It is the one on RK3399.

Given this everything works fine, except there is no TRIM support.

In order to enable TRIM a new UDEV rule is added [1]:
 /etc/udev/rules.d/10-sata-bridge-trim.rules:

After reboot any F2FS write hangs forever and dmesg reports:

Also tested on a x86_64 system: works fine even with TRIM enabled.

The reason is it is possible to enable discard flag on block queue via
UDEV, but during mount, f2fs will initialize se->discard_map only if
this flag is set, once the flag is set after mount, f2fs may dereference
NULL pointer on se->discard_map.

So this patch does below changes to fix this issue:
- initialize and update se->discard_map all the time.
- don't clear DISCARD option if device has no QUEUE_FLAG_DISCARD flag
during mount.
- don't issue small discard on zoned block device.
- introduce some functions to enhance the readability.

When device is unregistered, flowtable flush routine is called
by notifier_call(nf_tables_flowtable_event). and exit callback of
nftables pernet_operation(nf_tables_exit_net) also has flowtable flush
routine. but when network namespace is destroyed, both notifier_call
and pernet_operation are called. hence flowtable flush routine in
pernet_operation is unnecessary.

This WARNING means that hook unregisteration is failed because
all flowtables hooks are already unregistered by notifier_call.

Network namespace exit routine guarantees that all devices will be
unregistered first. then, other exit callbacks of pernet_operations
are called. so that removing flowtable flush routine in exit callback of
pernet_operation(nf_tables_exit_net) doesn't make flowtable leak.

connected to an Alpine Ridge Thunderbolt controller.  This port has slot

This system is using ACPI based hotplug to notify the OS that it needs to
rescan the PCI bus (ACPI hotplug).

If there is nothing connected in any of the Thunderbolt ports the root port
will not have any runtime PM active children and is thus automatically
runtime suspended pretty soon after boot by PCI PM core.  Now, when a
device is connected the BIOS SMI handler responsible for enumerating newly
added devices is not able to find anything because the port is in D3.

Prevent this from happening by blacklisting PCI power management of this
particular Gigabyte system.

When halting a guest, QEMU flushes the virtual ITS caches, which
amounts to writing to the various tables that the guest has allocated.

This commit makes the kernel not send the next queued HCI command until
a command complete arrives for the last HCI command sent to the
controller. This change avoids a problem with some buggy controllers
(seen on two SKUs of QCA9377) that send an extra command complete event
for the previous command after the kernel had already sent a new HCI
command to the controller.

The problem was reproduced when starting an active scanning procedure,
where an extra command complete event arrives for the LE_SET_RANDOM_ADDR
command. When this happends the kernel ends up not processing the
command complete for the following commmand, LE_SET_SCAN_PARAM, and
ultimately behaving as if a passive scanning procedure was being
performed, when in fact controller is performing an active scanning
procedure. This makes it impossible to discover BLE devices as no device
found events are sent to userspace.

This problem is reproducible on 100% of the attempts on the affected
controllers. The extra command complete event can be seen at timestamp
27.420131 on the btmon logs bellow.

The way relocation moves data extents is by creating a reloc inode and
preallocating extents in this inode and then copying the data into these
preallocated extents.  Once we've done this for all of our extents,
we'll write out these dirty pages, which marks the extent written, and
goes into btrfs_reloc_cow_block().  From here we get our current
reloc_control, which _should_ match the reloc_control for the current
block group we're relocating.

However if we get an ENOSPC in this path at some point we'll bail out,
never initiating writeback on this inode.  Not a huge deal, unless we
happen to be doing relocation on a different block group, and this block
group is now rc->stage == UPDATE_DATA_PTRS.  This trips the BUG_ON() in
btrfs_reloc_cow_block(), because we expect to be done modifying the data
inode.  We are in fact done modifying the metadata for the data inode
we're currently using, but not the one from the failed block group, and
thus we BUG_ON().

(This happens when writeback finishes for extents from the previous
group, when we are at btrfs_finish_ordered_io() which updates the data
reloc tree (inode item, drops/adds extent items, etc).)

Fix this by writing out the reloc data inode always, and then breaking
out of the loop after that point to keep from tripping this BUG_ON()
later.

In configfs_register_group(), if create_default_group() failed, we
forget to unlink the group. It will left a invalid item in the parent list,
which may trigger the use-after-free issue seen below:

It is possible for an irq triggered by channel0 to be received later
after clks are disabled once firmware loaded during sdma probe. If
that happens then clearing them by writing to SDMA_H_INTR won't work
and the kernel will hang processing infinite interrupts. Actually,
don't need interrupt triggered on channel0 since it's pollling
SDMA_H_STATSTOP to know channel0 done rather than interrupt in
current code, just clear BD_INTR to disable channel0 interrupt to
avoid the above case.
This issue was brought by commit 1d069bf ("dmaengine: imx-sdma:
ack channel 0 IRQ in the interrupt handler") which didn't take care
the above case.

Clear the CRYPTO_TFM_REQ_MAY_SLEEP flag when the chacha20poly1305
operation is being continued from an async completion callback, since
sleeping may not be allowed in that context.

This is basically the same bug that was recently fixed in the xts and
lrw templates.  But, it's always been broken in chacha20poly1305 too.
This was found using syzkaller in combination with the updated crypto
self-tests which actually test the MAY_SLEEP flag now.

[CAUSE]
Due to the delayed subvolume creation, we need to call
btrfs_qgroup_inherit() inside commit transaction code, with a lot of
other mutex hold.
This hell of lock chain can lead to above problem.

[FIX]
On the other hand, we don't really need to hold qgroup_ioctl_lock if
we're in the context of create_pending_snapshot().
As in that context, we're the only one being able to modify qgroup.

All other qgroup functions which needs qgroup_ioctl_lock are either
holding a transaction handle, or will start a new transaction:
  Functions will start a new transaction():

  * btrfs_quota_disable()
  Functions hold a transaction handler:
  * btrfs_add_qgroup_relation()
  * btrfs_del_qgroup_relation()

So we have a higher level protection provided by transaction, thus we

Only the btrfs_qgroup_inherit() call in create_subvol() needs to hold
qgroup_ioctl_lock, while the btrfs_qgroup_inherit() call in
create_pending_snapshot() is already protected by transaction.

So the fix is to detect the context by checking
trans->transaction->state.
If we're at TRANS_STATE_COMMIT_DOING, then we're in commit transaction
context and no need to get the mutex.

A deadlock with this stacktrace was observed.

The loop thread does a GFP_KERNEL allocation, it calls into dm-bufio
shrinker and the shrinker depends on I/O completion in the dm-bufio
subsystem.

In order to fix the deadlock (and other similar ones), we set the flag
PF_MEMALLOC_NOIO at loop thread entry.

Calling ceph_buffer_put() in fill_inode() may result in freeing the
i_xattrs.blob buffer while holding the i_ceph_lock.  This can be fixed by
postponing the call until later, when the lock is released.

Observe a segmentation fault when 'perf stat' is asked to repeat forever
with the interval option.

Without fix:

This problem was only observed when we use forever option aka -r 0 and
works with limited repeats. Calling print_counter with ts being set to
NULL, is not a correct option when interval is set. Hence avoid
print_counter(NULL,..)  if interval is set.

We release wrong pointer on error path in cpu_cache_level__read
function, leading to segfault:

A hang was observed in the fcport delete path when the device was
responding slow and an issue-lip path (results in session termination) was
taken.

Fix this by issuing logo requests unconditionally.

And the procedure to keep resize bitmap safe is allocate new storage
space, then quiesce, copy bits, replace bitmap, and re-start.

However the daemon (bitmap_daemon_work) could happen even the array is
quiesced, which means when bitmap_file_clear_bit is triggered by raid1d,
then it thinks it should be fine to access store->filemap since
counts->lock is held, but resize could change the storage without the
protection of the lock.
