Reviewing and testing of a non-production JuypterHub cloud service.
Infrastructure Maintenance by 212c
Current Community Person: Stephanie Nielsen
Goals: To understand how to be a partner with 212c, costs for running it for courses at UCSC, learn how to use it and help our instructors make the best use. Ultimately we would like to be able to offer something to our physics professors who have used a homegrown Jupyter Service since 2016. The tend to have all the answers of what is needed and so forth.
We are a Google Apps so would want Google to login or the same as UCB with a federated login. We also have eduroam. Most of our ERP applications have migrated to AWS to we have staff familiar with AWS.
Some instructors are using are local Gitlab instance but if there's a way for us to transfer the instruction over to Github to meet FERPA guidelines that would be great.
