Select from dropdown-query with values that contain others

Current behavior
I have this entity:
FieldA(initials - value) - FIeldB(person name - label)
PR - Peter Roosevelt
APR - Anna Priscila Ramsey

I create the visual query, create the field with the linked dropdown-query, and when I try to create a record, they all show fine.

When I select PR however, the label that goes on top is "Anna Priscila Ramsey". If I save the record and check the list for values, it stores the PR value (correct)
