As strict minimalists practicing a PRACTICAL solutionary lifestyle, we strive to be responsible for making our friends and family less fragile ... of course, we pay our bills but we are always working at reducing our costs, eliminating addictions or desires for comfort ... we are consistently getting tougher and we hold ourselves accountable for getting tougher.
Our new friendships come from discussing papers, ventures, research with thinkers who are DOING things ... we brainstorm, we critique, we push ... basically we are most interesting antifragile thinking ... we percieve the world of knowledge as a gigantic market in options with gigantic upside potential ... most of value comes from new connections.
It's important to let the dead bury their dead. In other words, you can't fix everything for people who are trying to be stupid and just not working that hard on staying abreast of developments in science, but you can stop wasting any time on crybabies or people who FOLLOW their favorite news channels.
We want to our part to do our best to be able to have a decent conversation with others ... we want to make sure that we are well informed by reading more of the recent papers being published to the pre-print archives.
