Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when

I'm not having any issues. Just convienience.

Describe the solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.

Suggestion: how about dynamic favorites based on the time of day? I have common apps during my workday and different outside work hours , and even different late at night.

I imagine:

  • define time windows
  • select apps as you do currently
  • apps dynamically change based on time.

Thanks!

If it is appropriate? I read through the other issue, and it does include what I described. There are some other GREAT ideas in the other thread as well.

Hi @bashfulrobot 👋 To keep the launcher simple, we're not planning to support dynamic favorites directly. However, this & #165 might be possible with Tasker in the future: #786

It's all good. I just thought I would make a suggestion. It's a great launcher regardless. 👍

From #2731:

Make profiles react to triggers: wifi connection change, geofencing, NFC tags or others.
Some can only be used when connected to a certain wifi network e.g. Sonos, smart home, NAS client. I would like to hide them from my home screen when outside of the network, however I'd like to see them on main screen when at home.

Would also love to see is. I'm using both android and iOS and it is very convient and helps me focus.
