The documentation at https://www.addevent.com/documentation/add-to-calendar-button says the description field supports "simplified HTML", but it doesn't seem like links are supported.

In the example video I've tried making links with pure text, HTML and Markdown, but none creates proper links in the Google Calendar event description.
