Soul lava does not spawn within the other or the nether

Soul Lava is spawning in "The Other" Dimension in Vulcanos but never found them in the Nether

thanks for the info. maybe that is intentional. i looked in the other, but not in the volcano biome

Ok. i wasn't able to find a volcano biome. i searched in creative and in my own world. any other ideas?

There is no Vulcano biom. They can spawn in an Ancient Warped Forest as far as i know,

Here is one i found and i was really luck, i first didn't notice it, because i flew with my Elytra down in the Forest.

Awesome! I was able to confirm and find one in a creative world. It doesn't even seem to need to be in a specific biome, just in the other dimension. Thanks for your help!

Can only this be found while in creative and why? Top-tier jetpack+flux controller allows pretty much infinite flight. I searched forever and cannot find it. There is no such thing as a Volcano biome, even nature's compass doesn't list such a biome. I'm about to have no other choice than giving up on All the Mods 7 (at least no ATM star) or running non-sense commands I never remember to scan the map for specific blocks.

The fact that I am regularly attacked by mobs that I cannot spot and just shoot, shoot, shoot, endlessly, and even if I end up touching one with my bow, that just deals no damage, gets me more and more annoyed. Why ruin a good skyblock pack with a stupid quest of searching a rare item in an endless dimension? Many modpacks are repeating that same mistake by the way.

Volcanoes are worldgen features, not biomes - you can't scan for them with a compass. While these are the easiest way to get large amounts, you should still be able to find plenty of soul lava in an ancient pyramid or piglin village (both of which do work with a structure compass) to automate it with bees or a fluid drill.

Hi. Thanks, I tried searching in a piglin village to no avail. That really sems to depend on the word seed so I really have to restart a map from scratch with the seed of somebody that made a let's play, check in the let's play for the coordinates of a lava lake and go there? This is really driving me insane. I don't believe anyone is having fun searching these things forever like that and have to come up restarting a world with a new seed to get this!

From the information i was given, and was pinned in the atm7 discord channels, the volcanoes can spawn in Ancient basalt deltas, and if that biome exists anywhere in the y slice, a volcano can spawn on the surface (due to biomes being 3D).
My recommendation is to then search for that biome, and find the volcano on the surface.

Sorry for posting on this a year later, but I have found one with no volcano, and the biome compass doesn't return any other results. As far as I can tell, I have one small ancient basalt delta and no other for hundreds of thousands of blocks.
