Crash on adding a new mod

so i tried to add Geothermal_1.17.24.zip and the program keeps crashing

The current implementation of mod settings is incomplete and can cause issues with various mods.

I'm curently working on a complete rewrite of MMF that will run on all platforms that will fix all of this, but don't expect it too soon.

so atm there is nothing i can do about this?

You can revert to 1.10.3, the 1.11 builds are marked as unstable afterall.
