Hi,
We have a ventilation model that cannot export anything with IFC 22.6.0.0 exporter. It works with earlier versions.

We get this error:
image

It doesn't work even if we try to export one component.

Attached is a Revit sample-file:
Test Ventilation Revit.zip

Using Revit 2022.1

I dont know if its related to Ducts. But export works on all our other models. Could be some other settings in this particular file..

@BIMLUND what version of IFC/MVD are you trying to use? IFC4 Reference View Architectural or IFC2x3 CV2.0?

The IFC2x3 CV2.0 in Revit 2023 works:
Test Ventilation2x3.zip

As does the IFC4 Reference View [BuildingServices] in Revit 2023:
Test Ventilation.zip

@parrela what's your take?

In Revit 2022: Neither the IFC2x3 or IFC4 Reference View works.
Tried a couple of different ones. Same error.

I got it to work just fine with the default 2022 install - 22.1.30.34

I got it to fail with the prerelease 22.6.1.0 open source add on.. There is obviously an issue with the prerelease. Will file a Jira PR accordingly.

I updated the pre-released 22.6.1.0. It should fix this issue. The attached model can be exported successfully in both IFC2x3 and IFC4. You may want to test this updated pre-released version 22.6.1.0 (https://github.com/Autodesk/revit-ifc/releases/tag/IFC_v22.6.1.0)

Thanks @WawanSolihin!
I can confirm that it works for our complete model aswell. Great job.
