Don't show the [xx more words] on Facebook if the user has a custom excerpt #508

Upon further testing, I was unable to reproduce the user's issue, and nor did he, so I will close this issue for now. |
I can both confirm this issue and see that it doesn't seem to appear at all times depending on whether Facebook shows the full excerpt or not. I've observed this problem both when For instance, it doesn't show in the single post view but it does in the timeline. Another post showing problem in timeline view: I just started using publicize so I can't say whether this problem has been going for long or not. |
Reopening this issue as I was able to reproduce the problem as well. It was also reported in 2035069-t. |

Hello, has a fix ever been found for this? (getting rid of xx more words and replacing with "Read More" or something similar?) Thank you :) |

In this Facebook post we see that there is an excerpt and then the mention of [109 more words]. If the user has a custom excerpt, should we show the word length for the full post?
