Unable to save lessons when WPML is activated

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install and activate the WPML Multilingual LMS plugin (check Secret Store for creds).
2. Create a new course using the default layout.
3. Notice that editor is caught in an infinite save loop.
4. Exit and go back into the course.
5. Click on an existing lesson.
6. Click on Save to edit lesson.
7. We're caught in an infinite save loop again.

What I Expected

The lesson to be created with Draft status.

What Happened Instead

The editor is caught in an infinite loop and the lesson is Unsaved.
