When watching a mounted directory in the NAS (or even directly with the \\ip\path), we get unconsistent results for the create events. For example sometimes the same file creation can fire from 2 to 6 create events.
As for the DELETE event, when there is a recycle bin, the delete event doesn't get fired until after another create event (when a new file is added), when there is no recycle bin in the shared folder, the delete event works normal.

We tried in two different synology devices.

  • DS1815+ version DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 2
  • DS3617xs DSM 6.2.3-25426
Using both node 14 and 12 on windows 10 and nsfw v2.1.1.

In the other hand, watching a shared folder from another windows machine works perfectly fine.
