Even for PythonSDK mod development, OpenBLCMM is an invaluable tool thanks to Object Explorer's use in referencing game objects. Currently, using OpenBLCMM for this purpose has the following workflow:

  • Launching OpenBLCMM automatically opens an editor with the last working .blcm file
  • Object Explorer is then selected from a drop down menu
  • The original editor window must then be refocused and closed, as it is not needed

It would be useful to add a simple -oe (or similar) program argument that directs OpenBLCMM to launch directly into an Object Explorer window, without creating an editor.

Heya -- totally agreed; this is definitely on the list of things I'd like to do with the app. I'd actually had this in separately as #11 but in the end I sort of folded everything into #8 -- the work required is awfully similar between 'em. That's been one of the things I was thinking about going for for v1.5, but I haven't been in a frame of mind to be able to work on this for awhile now.

Anyway, I'm gonna close this one out and just leave it as #8. Thx for the request!
