Describe the Change

Disable overwrite
New switch parameter and functionality to disable overwriting existing files, and add a numerical suffix to the file name if appropriate.

Return filepaths
New switch parameter and functionality to enable the function to return a list of filepaths.

Additional Context

I've updated the necessary function and help comment, and will be submitting a pull request shortly.
