skDocs

A Discord bot made to show documentation of Skript and its addons.

Note: skDocs needs Manage Messages permission for emote buttons.

Setup

1. Install Python

• skDocs works on Python 3.6 or above. Install Python here.

2. Download skDocs

• Click to Clone or Download on skDocs repo and click Download ZIP.
• If you want to use git, use this command: git clone https://github.com/Bartuzen/skDocs

3. Install Requirements

• Open a terminal in skDocs folder and run command pip install -r requirements.txt

4. Edit Config File

• Fill in the token and skripthub.token with your bot token and Skript Hub token.
• To get a Skript Hub token:
  1. Login to Skript Hub.
  2. Go to API section in Dashboard or click here.
  3. Copy Your API Token and paste it to skript-hub.token in your config file.

5. Run skDocs

• Double click to main.py inside skDocs folder or run python main.py from command line.

6. Add Bot to Your Server

• Change CLIENTID with your bot's client id in https://discordapp.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=CLIENTID&scope=bot&permissions=8192 and go to website.
