Describe the bug | 问题描述
When using thumbwheel of MX Master 3 for horizontal scrolling, scrolling not always registered or sometimes delayed. Sometimes works properly. It seems as if it is dependent on the speed you turn the wheel. Once scrolling it works fine, but the start is buggy.
(I am using Logi Options, smooth scrolling is off)

System Info | 系统信息:

  • Mouse: Logitech MX Master 3
  • OS: macOS Monterey Version 12.2.1
  • System: Mac Mini M1

i have the same issue with my MX Vertical - it works much of the time, but sometimes when i goto say chrome, when i scroll it doesn't scroll for a bit and then over scrolls (if that makes sense) - its very annoying and i have no idea why sometimes it works ok sometimes and sometimes it doesnt - i know that its not my mouse i have two of the same mouse with the same m1 mac mini and one works 99% of the time and one works 50% of the time -

#333 - this issue seems resolved but to me it seems like it is not - reading this link, i feel like its tied to frame fresh rate somehow form the video card, and the two machines have different monitors, i wonder if this is the difference

#333

i bought a 8gb Mac mini about a month ago - was getting a similar lag issue to #333, even though that seems resolved

so i ordered a pair of 16gb mac mini's one for home one for office - same MX vertical mouse - same mac mini same everything but different display

office machine works fine - home has been giving me lag at the start of some scrolls, much like #333

i think this Mos - Fixed Catalyst Scrolling.zip
might have fixed it

Currently I stopped using MOS, because for my work horizontal scroll is essential and its just not usable in situations you depend on it. In Mac Os Mouse Settings I turned up Scroll Sensitivity to max and turned on Smooth Scroll in Logitech Options. This solution is not optimal, but its smoother than using nothing and the reaction while scrolling (especially horizontally) is much more reliable than using MOS. Hopefully this issue can be resolved, because in principle this is a very good app.

Experiencing the same issue. On some apps is not really a problem but for example, on VSCode, it's really frustrating having to scroll the thumb wheel a lot before getting any horizontal movement. Hope it gets optimized!

Edit: using horizontal scrolling with Shift key is working smoothly tho 👍
