Additional to displaying inline images, it would be great to have that for PDF files as well. PDF previews in general are already supported from Joplin (see settings -> markdown -> enable pdf viewer), so I dunno if this would be too hard to implement? Maybe you could share your opinion on that and if it'd be worthy you time :-)

Eventually I'd like to extend this plugin by rendering some items using the default Joplin renderer. Mermaid diagrams for example, and tables as well. I think the same thing can be done for pdf files which would support inline rendering.
It's not a priority of mine, but while working on those other items I'll attempt this as well.
