There are mechanisms to help calculate this during conversion.

When beginning, and until you have a better understanding, think of a PAS instance as an individual "broker".
Group your classic brokers by unique propath and db connection sets into single instance AVM definitions.
Disregard "sessionModel" on the classic defintions and focus on the runtime propath and DB connections.

As your experience with PAS grows, you may find opportunities to collapse the single-broker-per-instance model into a many-AVM-per-PAS-instance model.
