Hi, Grounded-Segment-Anything is Grounded DINO + SAM, and this project is GLIP + SAM. Actually, any open-vocabulary (text-guided) object detection model can be used to combine with SAM. |
Thanks for the explanation. I am particularly interested in part
segmentation. I found out that Grounded DINO + SAM also can detect parts.
Have you compared your method with it? Is your method accuracy higher than
it is on the part segmentation task? thanks. Where can I find out which
parts your method support?

Hi,
For now, it doesn't support the general part concept like 'head', since
'dog head' and 'human head' are largely different.
Grounded-Segment-Anything is Grounded DINO + SAM, and this project is GLIP
+ SAM. Actually, any open-vocabulary (text-guided) object detection model
can be used to combine with SAM.

VLPart does not support part segmentation on human fingers due to lack of such data in training. |
