Describe the bug

I spent the night disassembling faulty batteries to rebuild them in mint condition so I decided to make a bath of 7 storage batteries using the workbench but the message says they're too heavy for me to work comfortably on them. Which I believe defeats the very purpose of working specifically on a workbench.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Build workbench
  2. Build large quantity of storage batteries or things that are heavy

Expected behavior

I expected the game to handle items one at a time, like crafting them in series because it seems the game handles it like if I was building them all at the same time in my own hands

Confirmed in 0.E-6518-g8e6077ef45.

I was able to craft up to 4 storage batteries in a batch without messages about slowdown, but trying to craft 5, 6, or 7 at a time says "The in progress * storage battery ... is to (sic) large and/or heavy to work on comfortably. You are working slowly." despite being assembled on the workbench:

Perhaps divide the weight (and volume) by the batch side for this purpose? I'm not quite how parallel the batching is, so maybe do it only when there's no batching bonus.

Greetings, I am seeing this same problem maybe in a recent nightly build d2f6310, trying to disassemble broken mech lifter. The strange thing is that it worked on a constructed work bench until 64% with the message The in progress ... is too large and or heavy to work on comfortably. You are working slowly. But at 64% The in progress disassembly is too large and or heavy to work on. You may want to use a workbench or smaller batch size. And it did not proceed any more. The reason was low morale, so perhaps the message could be amended for that.

But at 64% The in progress disassembly is too large and or heavy to work on. You may want to use a workbench or smaller batch size. And it did not proceed any more. The reason was low morale, so perhaps the message could be amended for that.

The message is sent if the workbench multiplier of craft speed is extremely low OR the workbench multiplier and the total craft speed are both somewhat low. So your workbench multiplier was between extremely low and low, and your low morale made your total speed went below the critical line.
