Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

While harvesting my crops I found out about the process for drying > threshing > winnowing certain crops to make them useable, but when it came to the canola stalks the description claims ready for dying yet didn't have a recipe to do so (used debug to give all recipes to check), while looking at the debug spawn items section for what recipes they're components for I found that raw lentils were in a similar situation.

Solution you would like.

Add recipes for dried canola stalks and dried lentil stalks

Describe alternatives you have considered.

Could remove the drying threshing winnowing process and have the lentils and canola useable on harvest but that would also mean deleting references to their raw/stalk, dried, threshed versions

Additional context

currently no recipes for the 2 of them

Raw lentils are completely unused and a JSON artifact that's on its way to be removed.

Canola stalks do need a recipe, but in the meantime you can stick them in a smoker or a stooking spot. Use the * menu to build it, then place the stalks there and examine the spot with e.

Why?

Raw lentils are completely unused and a JSON artefact that's on its way to be removed.

Why?

Because lentils are always left to dry on the bush before harvest irl as it is the only practical way to collect any quantity of them. Unlike grains they don't grow in ears, a pod contains just two teeny tiny lentils.

This is technically possible with other grains (corn is a great example) but isn't always done because there are a lot of challenges like lodging, rot, pests, etc. that the player should have to solve if they want to go that route. The same problems don't exist for lentils because they grow as tiny little bushes on the ground and die and dry very quickly at the end of the season.

The guy in this video is picking the whole bush and drying it, but you don't have to do that part, it will dry on its own pretty quickly.
