(This is about the pre and post hooks.)

The are always relative to the sandbox, which is not correct as the source is not imported into the sandbox.

Plus 1 on this one. I think I'm having the same problem and it's a real bummer - https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/cocoapods/daw2c5zzmi8.

Btw.... as far as I know, :local is not used anymore. Now it's only :path.

If I recall correctly this issue has been fixed.
