Very good work guys. The new website will be awesome. Only two suggestions while you are developing or in beta:

• expose the libraries version number on search result
• expose download number or number of people are using library (if it's possible). This is useful for new people who are looking to decide which lib is best to use.

Don't know if github issue is the right place for these suggestions.

We currently don’t have those figures, but we do have ideas on how to obtain those in the future. However, even then, we won’t just simply add them, as it’s not a trustworthy metric on its own. We’ll probably partner with people that have expressed interest in working on this and have lots of experience in how to best utilise this data.

We are still polishing the results and will very likely re-add version numbers and author names :)

Author name won't likely make it in until we get the next version of search - with all the cool metadata in.

I'm closing this, mainly to try keep the issues clean. When we get to having valid stats this will be part of the new UI.
