Take on your Space Rover, find a friend and visit the wonders of Padua with an enjoyable game experience.
This App was candidated to Space App Contest, Padua, orginized by UniSMART and Padova Promex.
Space Rover Express is a two player game for enjoy te visit of the city of Padua. One player take the pilot role the other the assistant role.
- Italian and English support.
- Two player roles.
- Map that follow the move of player and his orientation in real time using GPS and Compass.
- Visualization on the margin of display of the fixed point of interest (POI) by the player in order to reach it.
- Visualization of the map from an above view where player can set the POI to reach.
- When the player reach an undiscovered POI the game starts. The pilot has to comunicate with his assitant in order to solve two puzzle games show by the app. There are two type of puzzle game:
- Decrypto: the players have to collaborate in order to identified the character and write the corresponding numerical sequence;
- Color Buttons: the players have to find the correct sequence without misleading their comunication with the different colors;
- screen where are showed the player statistics, all the discovered POI and the unlocked badges.
- Virtual assistant that help the player in a smooth process to learn how to use the app.
- Visualization of cards where are presented a list of possible solution and some istruction in order to solve the puzzle game.
- FLY mode, the rover can be moved manually by the player simply move the camera of the map.
- Disable the compass from sensors and use only data from GPS.
- If only one player plays, it can activate the single player mode and in the game he can see the cards of the assistant.
