  • Needs to be free-standing
    • We work on the electronics while they are attached to the chassis
  • Needs a way to support tube/electronics.
  • Needs an easy way to mount tube/electronics.
  • EASY, REPEATABLE, SOMEWHAT accurate mounting points for thrusters, and to a lesser extent cameras
  • Decent mounting points for buoyancy devices
  • Needs to be manually or in-house CNC manufacturable
  • Leave a spot to put a 120mm X 240mm computer radiator
    • Watercooling is epic.
  • Working budget is ~$0
    • Prefer material in Robotics Space or Machine Shop Scrap
    • McMaster/MetalMart/Etc. only if budget expansion or necessary
    • Chassis is the most likely (mechanical) budget to get expanded.
    • We have LOTS of fasteners. Please check team/club inventory first for fasteners (we may have something that will at least work).
