As said in the changelog, we were not able to test all different kinds of combinations.
In case you have a tool that does weird things and is not working correctly, pls post it here with a screenshot of the situation (you can post screenshots by drag and drop them in the comment box, no need to upload them somewhere else.)

- Improvement for reverse driving with offset tools (e.g. plows or potato harvester)
- Plows default noReverse configuration was removed, User who want them to not drive in reverse turn off "turn on field" or can also turn on "use pathfinder in turns".

- Added shovel mode back in. #2254

Please check the in-game help menu for how to set up the new mode.

We can't support all kinds of shovel vehicles (like bobcats) as they were built inconsistently (like the tool arms are sometimes flipped, and so on).

If it turns out to be a lot of non-working shovel vehicles, we'll consider implementing some kind of Tool Position Saver (like our separate mod)  or find some another solution, until then, we would prefer keeping the automatic control.

We were not able to test all different kinds of combinations. If you have a vehicle that does weird things, pls post a screenshot (with debug on) in our Issue: #2783

Hello, I noticed that for the CP to work, the vehicle to be loaded must be in the red circle area. On many maps this is impossible due to lack of space. Can the charging area be extended (the red circle in the picture)
PS Tried with several cards.
Thank you for the most useful MOD

How far away from the silo can the Placable search area be?

Hello, the idea is good, but it doesn't work. The problem was not solved. If you want a log file, I'm available. Good work ;)

And what did you do to try it out?
You just have to place the new marker about where the trailer should be.

Hey, the Volvo L180H with the high tip bucket pushes the bucket too low/tips it too far forward for loading.
the bucket scrapes so low over the ground, that the loader can't steer anymore

Hes doing one round and then he stops with "waiting for driver"

Is compost in the trailer ? Log says not valid for loading, thats why he is waiting for one.

Yes it is, see last screenshot.

And its very strange, everytime i stop and start the loader, he does his job one time and then stands there and refuses to work :)

Now i have this combo and it works better, but sometimes he still stops his work

My bad, havent checkt it and cant check it, silo is already empty. At least the info panel shows same message, but maybe the message is just wrong.

So I guess I'm a little bit confused on which implements to use with this mode. I know that the telehandler with the bucket attachment does work in this mode, however a wheel loader with a bucket attachment does not. It only has the loading mode.

To reduce my confusion, is there a list of attachments that work for "Bunker Silo Mode" and not "Bunker Loading"?

Bunker Silo Mode should be compacting wich means the shovel you attached wasn't noticed.
Wich one is it? Because all I used where noticed correctly.

There is no list as there are endless options and especially mods where the modder put it wrong specs might not work where we have no influence.

I tried using the Silage Fork by Albutt on the Claas Torion 1914. I also tried the High-Dump Bucket by Magsi. Both didn't work. Wasn't detected. Just gave me the option to load a trailer or a silo drop off point. No option to just compact or level.

No logs at this time because i've had my game open for about 12 hours right now, and sorting through all that junk isn't going to be worth your time. I'll upload a log later tomorrow if you wish.

Wheelloader with buckets are not for compacting and leveling....

Claas with silagefork works as intended. (Silo loading)

Volvo L180H + MES400 Leveler wanders off when an unloader arrives, rather than waiting at park node. If it hits something, it will spin its wheels, else it reports as off course. Where it ends up is random.

Hello,

I don't know if you've seen this problem, but wheel loaders don't work with all high dump buckets.
Only the MAGSI, 3500 L at 14000€ works. (photos 1 & 2)
The others: the Mc Cormack, 4000L at €15,000 or the other high spill mods, do not work with shovel mode.
The bucket doesn't open and if I open it manually, it doesn't move into the correct position for loading. (other photos)

Could you post the links to the different shovel mods?
I can adjust those than.

- Changed description for combine unload on 1st headland to be more clear, also set the default setting to false.

I tested the last one with a tractor and a telehandler and it doesn't work either.
The telehandler cannot even empty into the trailer (the arm would also have to extend to reach the trailer)

@Crinouche Hopefully I now got them all configured.
You can check out this PR: #2867 if you like and give it another try.
I will probably implement the telelader extension but that might take a long time until I get around to implemnt it.

For Telescopics, I can wait. :)

However, I have another problem. The buckets do not collect down enough and leave a layer of silage on the ground. But here, I don't think it comes from Courseplay.
I will do more tests

For that there is the shovel hight adjust on the hud.

Fix for silo bunker driver when leveling is working, thank you.

One more with the Volvo L180H. When shoveling it gets blocked on the side of the silo when exiting for the unloading point.

This is the case regardless of how wide the work width is set (it takes the work width into account and still behaves as if blocked)

Need to figure something out.

Oh no I remember.
No matter how high the radius gets, the Volvo wont make it.
The problem is that we had to kind of hack the volvo to work because Giants build them wrong ( its a bit complicated...)

@Tensuko Question/thought, is there a way to get the volvo/loader to back up so it is at a right angle to the silo when blocked, and then try the radius again? That way it would eventually get around?

Update:

1. Test:

  • Filled the Silo almost completely
  • started the job with the robo-six

  • OMFG he worked for like 8h+ without any issue with his tiny shovel and i loved it, thanks a lot for that mode!
  • but in the end when silo is almost empty he refused to work like in my first post. (wayting for driver)

  • then i thought, maybe he is recognizing some stuff that fell over the silo and isnt "Compost" (Some parts where straw and biomass)

  • so maybe he just thinks he doesnt have compost in his shovel and then he cant find a driver?

2. Test:

Sorry for the wall of text, but maybe it can help to do some improvements.

Like i said earlier, thanks a lot for the 8h+ work of the robo-six without any issues!

The last tiny bit of the Bunker can't be loaded without risking crashing into the silo wall or get too far outside the silo.
We tried to fix this but it won't work without crashes.
I think the last tiny bit can be loaded by player, when you have loaded a few hundred thousand or even a dew million with the CP Driver :)

This Issue will be closed now as we think we have the driver now in a very good state.

  - Implemented bale manager with lock and unlock features for bales.
  - Changed bale finder pathfinding to new controller.
  - Slows down while the bale grabber is moving.
- Final adjustments for #2783
- Applied the same logic to silo loaders (Ropa Maus, ...)
- Implemented pathfinder controller for silo loaders (Ropa Maus, ...) and bunker silo driver.
- The Pipecontroller moveable pipe was not working with pipes on the right side.
- Added config to disable parts of the pipe.
  - An example is the Dewulf P3K Profi implement.
  - Added vehicle configs, if the pipe moving tools can't be found automatically. For example the Dewulf ZKIVSE needs these config values.
- Load and save adjusted to work better in the course manager menu. More intuitive, select course, click on load. Or select folder and click on save.
- Added error msg if the name to save a course is invalid, for example an empty name.
- Player set offset for fieldwork is saved until attached a new tool or reattached the same tool. #1548
- Fix: harvester pocket creation. Back up further with longer vehicles before starting the pocket, so they have room to drive fully into the pocket.
- Fix: combine unloader stuck behind combine. #2874
- Fix: combine unloader moving out of combine's way.
