Dear Dr. John,
I have a question related to the time forecasting of the HYCOM GLBy0.08/latest data. For example, with today data, how many time can the COAWST model (WRF+ROMS+SWAN) forecast? (24h, 48 or 72h for example).
In addition, when I practice to run the COAWST model (WRF+ROMS+SWAN) with real-time data, it takes a lot of time to create the ini, clm, bdy conditions and the wave components as well. Can you kindly give me some suggestions to resolve this problem?
In WRF model, we just need to run geogrid.exe program in one time if the domain remains, so in ROMS and SWAN model, whether we can reduce some process like this?
