How to export GIMP images for use with TWiLightMenu

NOTE: As of TWLMenu++ now supporting .png files, this page is now out of date.

What you need

• Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Program)
• An image

1. Select File -> Export as...
2. Select .bmp as the output format and the filename extention
3. Tick the checkbox containing Do not write color space information
4. In Advanced Options, Select A1 R5 G5 B5 under 16-bits (Note: X1 R5 G5 B5 will work as well).

Now you have an bmp image with the correct settings for be used on TWiLightMenu++.
