Happy 21st birthday to Deus Ex, and 1st birthday for Deus Ex Randomizer!

Installation Instructions

Download the DeusEx.u file and put it in your game's System directory, which is probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Deus Ex\System (make a backup of the original DeusEx.u)

If the game is not running well for you, see the recommended tweaks at the bottom of the README.

As usual, you will still be able to load your old saved games with this new version.

Co-op (Alpha) with HX mod

First download and install HX-0.9.89.4.zip from https://builds.hx.hanfling.de/testing/

Then copy HXRandomizer.u and HXRandomizer.int into the System directory of the game.

HXRandomizer is in early alpha testing and does not support all of the features that the single player randomizer has.

Changes

• Alcohol now gives a little bioelectric energy

• Medkits and alcohol now give 1 health to your legs if they're dead

• Tweaked the randomization of skill/aug level strengths to reduce the possibility of useless level ups

• Entrance Rando is now out of beta! Some small improvements to mission 6 and mission 10.

• Horde Mode is now out of beta!

• Added more options to the advanced page so you can disable any part of the randomization you want.
