I consider myself a ‘forever student,’ and find the best way to learn new skills is to jump into projects headfirst, without fear of asking for help along the way. I thrive in collaborative environments, and actively seek opportunities to teach/mentor where I can.
Before making the transition into tech I had a long and successful career of management within the Retail and Hospitality fields, with brief stint in municipal utilities work. I graduated from the Turing School of Software and Design in April of '22 with a certification in Backend Engineering. I excel in unit and integration testing, as well as API and Database design. In my spare time I like to cook, hike, climb whatever mountains I can, and spend time with my wife and daughter.
Currently, I am an Associate Consultant at Slalom working out of the Denver office, within the CRM/Salesforce practice.
