Lux berries

These peculiar berries are rare items that help the player to know, use, and change their light. They can be found in treasures chest in some dungeons and structures, and they are quite rare. No one has discovered how to plant or grow them yet.

*From left to right, Luxmuta Berry, Luxintus Berry, Luxcognita Berry*

Luxmutua Berry luxmut_berry

This one, will "mix up" your innerlight, allowing you to change its type. The change is random, and it won't be the same one you had before eating it. It will also change the target randomly, as long as it's compatible with the new light type. It is very rare.

Luxintus Berry sweet_berries

This magical berry will replenish, or even saturate, your InnerLight, and it will trigger it right away, regardless of the cooldown or the conditions needed to activate it.

You can use it make the Luxintus Berry Powder which you can use to brew a Bottled Light artificially!

Trivia: First berry to have developed, and the only one originally planned

Luxcognita Berry luxcogni

This berry will read your InnerLight, and tell you its secrets. When you eat a magical screen will open, and you will be able to get information on what type of InnerLight you have, what target, and their respective ingredients to be used in Bottled Light brewing!

BottledLight bottled_light_item

This is a special item that will allow you to gain LightCharges. It can either be made in a "Natural" way, or an "Alchemist-explosive":

Natural way

The safer "Natural" method, in which whenerver you have your light ready, you can use an empty bottle to right click the air and bottle up your light inside of it. The newly created Bottled Light item will only be usuable by you alone, and not by other players. It is your unique light that has been bottled up after all!

Alchemical way

The more dangerous and complex, "Alchemist" method. You can brew some bottled light, and sort of distribute it to other players as well, but there are some risks and restrictions.

  1. First of all you will need to acquire some Luxintus Berry, and then crush it to obtain the powder using... a mixer? Nope, you will need to smash an anvil on top of the berry itself! You will need to drop the berry on the floor and let an anvil land on top of it. But be warned! There is 10% that the energy released by this process will be way too much to handle and result in an explosion! There is also a low chance that the powder will disappear, without blowing anything up. (Physics Tip: You can minimize your losses by minimizing the total energy released)
  2. Once you have the powder, you can put in a brewing stand along with an Expericne Bottle (Bottled o' Enchanting or whatever its name is) to start brewing your BottledLight.
  3. Now you have your basic BottledLight, but don't try to use it yet! You will now need to add an ingredient corresponding to your LightType and one corresponding to your TargetType. You can try to guess the item, use a Luxmutua berry, or look it up on the wiki in the Light Types section. Same thing for the Target ingredient.
  4. Once this process is compleated, you have obtained a usable BottledLight. A walk in park right? Well, be sure to only use the BottledLight crafted for your own LightType, otherwise, well... interesting reactions may occour... and they won't be pleasant! KABOOM!

Luxintus Berry powder

It is obtain by letting an anvil fall onto a Luxintus Berry. It can be used as a brewing ingredient as stated above!

Blocks added

Clear Ice

The clear ice a custom block spawned with the Frost Light, and it's similar to the Frosted Ice, spawned when using the Frost Walker enchantment. In fact, it will melt after the light of the caster has worn off, and it will leave beahind a little puff of snow particles. It is also highly transperent to let you see who or what is trapped into the ice, and is also trasparent, so entities won't suffocate inside it. It cannot be obtained in survival.

Ice wall

A transparent wall, that spawns with the Frost Light with the target of Allies and Self. And that's it.

Ice statue blocks

These were originally part of the Frost Light, but they now are discontinued, since Clear Ice those the same job much better. I've left them for decoration purposes, at least in Creative mode. There is still a piece present in game, the top part of the player ice statue. It is positioned on the ice wall from the Frost Light with the target types of Allies or Self.

Status Effects

This mods adds a lot of status effects, because I find they are a great solution to display the powers gained while activating a light. They are not made to be used by themselves, with the /effect command, so don't expect them to be balanced in that regard, but you can sure still have fun with them.
